Md. Delower Hossain is the Managing Director at Dr Lal PathLabs Bangladesh Private Limited (DLPLB) a subsidiary of Dr Lal PathLabs Limited (DLPL), India's largest medical diagnostics company.
After completion of post-graduation from University of Dhaka Mr. Hossain started his carrier in Ciba-Geigy, a predecessor to Novartis, in 1996. During his tenure in Novartis he had been engaged in different position of Sales & Marketing. In 2005 he entered into business and associated with Dr Lal PathLabs Limited, India and introduced Molecular Diagnostic tests in Bangladesh and has been outsourcing from India to facilitated to the clinicians to diagnose correctly and thus advise right treatment to their patients. In 2017 he incorporated a Joint Venture Diagnostics lab in Bangladesh with the name Dr Lal PathLabs Bangladesh Private Limited, which is a subsidiary of Dr. Lal PathLabs Limited, India.
He has been actively engaged in the Health Care Industry in Bangladesh for more than 30 years. He has been associated with a number of entrepreneurial ventures both nationally and internationally contributing significantly in the health care, diagnostics, pharmaceutical industries at Bangladesh.
